WZBC Students Were Awarded the First Prize at the National College Students E-Commerce Provincial Competition

The results of the National College Students E-Commerce Competition on Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship of Zhejiang Province were announced a few days ago. The International Olympic Committee team directed by Zhang Tingting from the School of Management of WZBC won the first prize of the provincial competition, and another team directed by Song Xiufeng from the School of Finance and Trade won the third prize.


Since the two teams were organized at the end of 2021, they have battled with and emerged from a total of 9872 participating teams from 689 colleges and universities across the country for half a year, through the theoretical competition, the first stage of the actual combat with simulation competition, and the second stage of the actual combat, which was docking with Alibaba international station or global express store.

In order to prepare for the competition, the School of Management and the School of Finance and Trade of our university attached great importance to it. The student association Six Dimensional Society also built a relatively perfect service system for the competition to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers and students. By participating in the cross-border E-Commerce competition, the students were better improved with the ability of integrating theory with practice and solving practical problems, which helped achieve the goal of promoting learning and educating people through competition, and further expanding the social influence of the cross-border E-Commerce talent training of our university.

The National College Students’ E-Commerce Competition on Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship is sponsored by the College E-Commerce Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education which has covered 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country so far. It is the first time to add the cross-border e-commerce actual race track in the competition this year, which includes Alibaba international station, eBay, independent station and cross-border e-commerce live broadcast.
